Where is Erv Kasian?

If you attended camp anytime between 1970 and 1979, you may remember Erv Kasian.  Erv was a colorful counselor.  We remember him living in the Craft Shop, we remember his mini-bike riddles, we remember his "most power equipped craft shop in North America" boasts.  His dog, Squeaky, may have been more memorable than Erv, especially for the references made about the relationship between Erv and his canine companion at the staff banquet at the close of the 1979 camping season (Paul??).

Since the reunion group organized back in 1995, we have been searching high and low for this most remarkable and memorable counselor.  We had very little luck.  There was a sighting of a lawn equipment repair shop bearing his name.  Since Erv was a whiz with power equipment, this was a good place to start.  However, our Erv was not the proprietor

Another sighting brought us to a hair salon.  Since Erv was not a slave to his hairstyle (in fact, he didn't have much hair at all!), this also was a dead end for our search.

Our luck changed in August of 1997, when our own Bob Mowen successfully located Erv . . . CLICK HERE to find out the rest of the story.
