April 1951, with several feet of snow on the ground, no buildings had been erected yet.  But the parents of enrolled campers had faith that the camp season would start on time.  Photos from 1951 are probably rare, but if you have any, let us know!

The following photos were taken in April 1951, after a HUGE blizzard threatens to postpone the opening of camp.  No buildings were erected yet, but the building materials were on-site.
