Reunion 1998 was held from Friday August 21 to Sunday August 23 on-site at Camp Waupaca in Waupaca, Wisconsin. This reunion was attended mostly by alumni who had not attended the first reunion in 1996.
One of the time-honored traditions of Camp Waupaca, especially in the Trail's End yearbook, was to write a time capsule after each season. In a few short paragraphs, the essence of the season gone by is recaptured in summary fashion. We continue this tradition with each reunion.

Reunion attendees tolerated a rainy Saturday afternoon with much reminiscing in the Dining Hall. Bob Mowen led a canoe trip out of camp, with many stories to share about the storm that hit. Larry Silton, an Appleton, Wisconsin resident spent part of Saturday afternoon with the group. There was much anticipation, as Joe Rosen, original owner of Camp Waupaca, was rumored to be coming to the reunion. Due to last minute plans, he was unable to attend.
